Name and SteamID showing

Hi. Having an issue while running your plugin. It is creating a green bar at the top of the player inventory screen and displaying the steam name and ID. Its attached to most items. I believe I found the culprit and have tested it with success. Its a line of codein the plugin: ConVar.Inventory.stackable_item_ownership = true;

To test I first unloaded Total Control. The in console I ran: inventory.stackable_item_ownership false

This was to set the flag to false. Then I went and crafted, gathered, and picked up new items, all without the name and steam ID showing at the top of the inventory screen. Then I reloaded Total control and ran this in console: inventory.stackable_item_ownership

After turning on Total control the status of inventory.stackable_item_ownership was set back on to True from the false flag I had set and items once again were showing the green bar with Steam name and ID.

Please fix this. Its troublesome and causing issues with other plugin GUIs and overlays.

Sorry your having issues with TotalControl it should not be showing steam id at all i will look into this and get it sorted asap.
What are the other gui plugins that its effecting and how?

as you can see from the attached picture. Its affecting IQ Sorter. I also have a furnace upgrades and the GUI for that one is also off due to the green bar showing when in inventory. Its mainly because the green bar moves all inventory GUI elements down further on the screen, other GUI overlays seem off and cover other writing. If we can get rid of the green bar with the Steam name and ID then all other GUI plugins will be back in correct location related to the inventory GUI.

Hi Srtzero sorry it took me a while to get this sorted for you i wanted to finish couple other parts i was working on give the new version 2.0.1 a try hopefully that solves your issue please let me know how it goes.

No problem. I'll try it out and let you know if there are any more issues. Got to say the server wasn't the same without TC running. I had users asking me what happened to all the features I had turned on from it. I'm glad to have it back up and running. Thanks for the support.

So far so good. I was still testing before I gave feedback. I like the new feature always hit an X, and the expanded raid features. Thanks for the support.

Might have spoken to soon. Just looted an item that gave the green bar with name and STEAMID again. I will say its way less frequent. I would say out of my whole loot inventory and filling up my inventory its the only item. So that about 1 out of 24. 

There are some items in rust by default show the green bar im not sure as to why you are also seeing the steamId ive personally never seen the steamId show in the green bar like yours.
You could try checking if you get the same green bar results on a vanilla server with no mods.
Im not sure exactly how the green bar is effecting as i dont have IQSorter myself but maybe its something the dev of IQSorter may need to look into.

I disabled IQ sorter while using the updated Total Control. Still happened. So not sure its related to IQ Sorter. I'll try on some vanilla servers and see if I still get my STEAMID. I'll report back.

So your right, even on vanilla servers, there are items which show your name. But only the name. Unfortunately on my server when I enable TC it still shows items that have green bar with the steamID. 

There is nothing in TC that would make your steam id show like it does maybe you have another plugin that is making it or perhaps a setting you turned on im not too sure what it could be from. 

Do all your players on your server show the steamId on the green bar or is it just you? Maybe its come from when you set up ownerid on my servers it shows my name as "[God] Mat993hew" I think that is the default way of it showing after setting ownerid.

Another one id look at is if you have something like BetterChat that may change your display name

I do have Better Chat. Maybe it has something to do with setting ownerID from server. I'll disable everything else and check with only TC. But so far it only happens when I turn on TC. While I had it off waiting for an update it wasn't doing it. Once I turned TC back on with the update it started showing the steamID again. I'll ask my other players and see if they also see their steamID or just their name in the green bar.

So I am completely stumped now. I have turned off everything. Only running as vanilla server and its still showing me steamID on certain items. I notice its mainly weapons and tools. Not so much on items. I am very confused now. So I guess we can rule out Total Control. Although before when I was testing, as long as I had TC unloaded i didnt get items with my SteamID and when I turned it back on, SteamID would show up again. 

So scratching my head. But I guess we can close this ticket as resolved.
