Critical Bug in v1.7.2 - NullReferenceException on Form1_Load

Hi, I'm experiencing a crash immediately upon launching Rust Server Tool v1.7.2. The application fails during the startup process before the main window even appears.

I have already tested the following without success:

Running as Administrator.

Launching without an internet connection.

Using a VPN/WARP.

Deleting IsolatedStorage and local configuration files.

The error persists even when offline, which suggests a logic error during the initialization of components or when parsing local data in the Form1_Load event. It seems to be an unhandled async task exception (VB$StateMachine_5_Form1_Load.MoveNext).

I've decompiled the binary with dnSpy and the crash is located at the entry point of MyApplication. Specifically, the static delegate \u0094\u0097\u0097.\u0094\u0097\u0094 is null when Invoke() is called.

It seems like the obfuscation/bootstrapper is failing to resolve the method handles during the static constructor initialization. This explains why it crashes even offline or with a clean config. Your packer is failing to initialize the delegates in v1.7.2.

Which version of Windows are you using? Is it updated?

Everything is updated

I'm starting to doubt that the main problem is "https://umod.org/"

The tool has problems every time that website is inaccessible.

However, umod is not called when the form is started.
Hmm, I'll have to see what that could be.
If you can be patient a little longer, the Rust Server Tool will soon be replaced by MyRustServer Lite.
