gibs not working

ok so i spawn in the easy bradley or really any of them and I edit the config json file, to set the "Disable Bradley gibs": true. same with the fire. after I kill the bradley the gibs and fire are still there. I have tried setting it to false and true and nothing changes.  I have uninstalled the plugin multiple times and still the gibs and fire are always active. I don't know what to do to fix this error im having.

Any error messages in the console? It sounds like something external is conflicting.

yah so i uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin with default settings but changed the gibs to true and fireball to true to disable them. After i kill the bradley the gibs and fire are still there. this is the console text

it says destroying but it never destroys the gibs or fireballs

no matter what diffiuculty i kill the gibs and fire is always still there but console says this
