Hi,
I'm having a major issue with LinkingSystem causing hook crashes in Carbon.

Whenever a player connects, LinkingSystem throws an exception during the OnPlayerConnected hook, which breaks the entire hook chain. Because of this:

SkillTree cannot finish initialization

UltimateLeaderboard fails to open

Player Health / UltimateStats unload

Players spawn with incomplete data (missing SkillTree UI, etc.)

— ALL other plugins immediately start working normally again.
Players load SkillTree correctly, no more unloads, no UI breaking, and no more hook errors.

This confirms LinkingSystem is causing the OnPlayerConnected hook to fail.

Can you please look at the error at line 367 and update/fix the plugin so it no longer throws on player connect?

I’m running Carbon on a fully updated Rust server.
