disconnected timer

During server restarts, the Support Discord bot cant connect obviously .. but the Support Discord goes into a reconnect frenzy.. is there a way you can place a restart timer so it doesn't go into a loop until the server comes back up and the bot can reconnect...

a cooldown timer between connection reattempts.. would be perfect

IT needs a delayed retry on connection, this is a server breaker.. when your bot goes into a connection loop.. it consumes the CPU meaning anything else can not restart..IE rust server.. ITS BAD

While your checking things out $purge no longer deletes channel messages, I assume Discord changed something, if you could update the bot with new discord functions, would be nice too please

I have the updates in my queue but this should not be any breaking functionality so its not high up on the list atm

It is also not recommended to run the bot on the same machine as the rust server. If the bot is on a vps or dedicated machine it would not effect your rust server at all

I have request numerous times for a simple "protection" to be added to your file, my first support request regarding this was October 15, 2025 in Server Supporter Bot, it is now Feb 2026.. I think I have waited long enough for a simple fix...?

every time the server which the bot connects too goes offline, restart or whatever, the bot goes into a connection frenzy because the server is not there to connect to... its filling my logs and it very unstable. This is not just a annoying support request, this is a URGENT one that no one seems to wanna fix... baffles me why this is allowed to continue, Trust me when I say this, I regret buying anything that Amino made, the support is appalling to none.

Once the rust server comes back up, the bot connects and continues as it should... why cant a time timer be added to prevent the runaway frenzy that it goes into.

I am sorry if this upsets you, but Its not like I have been waiting for almost 6 months....
