Hello!

After today’s update, I’m seeing red error messages on the screen.

What should I do?

From the looks of it, the errors are related to audio files such as asset/prefab/Murderder/Breathing.

HI,
As far as I know Facepunch have removed the sound effect asset for the Murderer npc breathing.

I didn't remove the option from BotReSpawn yet, just in case the decision gets reversed
but to prevent the error text you can set profile > Other > MurdererSound to false.

If the asset remains removed I'll see if I can replace it with something else - Bear or scarecrow or...some other sound.

It's possible that Facepunch has added it back again. I just tested it: after deleting the sound code you commented out, the zombies' growls still work, and there are no full-screen red error messages. This is because I noticed that the ZombieHorde plugin is still using this sound. So I gave it a try—without the zombies' sound, they don't look as realistic. By the way, here's a suggestion: you could add a sound for the zombies' death cry, using the file at assets/prefabs/npc/murderer/sound/death.prefab.

lol. I figured they might do that.
They couldn't have done it before I commented out the options? 🤣

Thanks for letting me know.
