Odd Tree Issue

So I had a player build their base around a tree in the jungle.  They left an opening on all floors for the tree, including the foundations. When they built the basement and jackhammered the wall, it created an opening allowing them to get on top of their basement.

I'll see if I can reproduce it, might be tricky
