Attack bots while sitting

This could be a Rust issue, but I found out that if you are sitting and a bot comes over to you, you can kill it from the seat and it won't attack you.

Perhaps you are able to make the bots invulnerable to attacks from any player that is sitting? 

The bot has both type weapons but was standing next to me with their melee weapon out at the time I noticed this.
