Players keeping PvP mode after dieing in PvP zone

Hey,

so we have the problem that pve players get the pvp status when they go into a pvp zone (which is offc. intended) - but if they die inside the pvp zone they will stay pvp flagged and seem to only change it back when going into the savezone and use the flag command.

There is no problem if they survive and just leave the area, only when dieing it seems to not update it again

I'll check on that - is it a regular zone from zone manager, or is it something created by a plugin like Convoy or Sputnik?

Okay, so I just tried to reproduce it and this is what I'm seeing. I am PVE, I entered a PVP zone and then died and respawned and this is what I see:



From what I can tell I am correctly set back to my original PVE, but for some reason simple status seems to be glitching out and showing both modes (even though I am truly in PVE). Could this be what you are seeing?

Just did the exact same thing a second time and it didnt glitch out

The stuck thing is happening but only if your on a team. and if the team isn't with you and you have sync on. It doesn't happen if clan leader is the one that's dies, it has to be a non clan leader.

Hey, we were able to reproduce it now:

Just to make things clear. I've been trying to reproduce based on a players experience and I was able to. Here is how:

"SyncModeWithTeamMembers": true,

Be in a team which is set to PvE,

Enter a PvP zone like large oil rig (using "ZoneManager" and "ZoneManagerAutoZones"),

The team member who is not the team leader dies in the PvP zone.,

The player respawns outside of the PvP zone (tug or base, whichever),

Whole team gets put into PvP mode.,

The important thing is that it must be a team member, not the team leader. We have tried it with the team leader dieing, the plugin/mode worked just fine. We're currently on 1.3.7. Config file attached. Hope this helps you out. Kind regards,
