Convoy attacking former team members

Accidentally bumped into the convoy with a bicycle joking around saying "I'm part of the convoy" which led to them becoming hostile thinking I was attacking them - 
I immediately went into godmode, and vanished and as SOON as I vanished the patrol heli hauled ass to a buddy of mine that was in a team with me for all of five minutes earlier today (we'd been OUT of party for close to 5 hours at this point) to test something, and started attacking him.

Is there anything you can do to resolve that behavior?

Hi. The behavior of the patrol helicopter is the same as that of the default one, I have not changed it.
