Hi, you can set up a message about the end of the event that all players will receive in the chat. You can also set up an event marker that will be displayed on the map for all players. Is this solution okay with you?

no i think players enjoy how the other events are ran by timer and a simple status and list when its going to end, for an event thats like airfield a timer would help them diligently play it instead of trying to run it at the end and not knowing wasting explosives and resources  

feedback from my community, also if simple status doesnt work possibly a timer above kind of like how space event or convoy show for home much time is left for the event

Am I correct in understanding that players want information about how much time is left until the event starts and how much time is left until the event ends?

No timer for the event to start currently how it is is fine 

only needing time left until event ends
