Will Not Allow the Change of Genes through Console or Chat Commands

I purchased the XCustomGenes and it won't make the genes switch properly through the /chat and console commands. It will work if I do it through the UI though. This is using the /genes all genes(GGYYYY) & xcustomgenes_give steamID shortname genes(GGYYYY) 5

The description most likely confused you and you are not using the command correctly.

I will try that now. The console command still only does the GXXXXX in my inventory when given. See picture. Command = xcustomgenes_give 76561199442000885 clone.blue.berry genes GGYYYY 5

I'm trying to have this as an item that can be redeemed by a kit or shop.
