I just upgraded to 4.3.6 and lost my entire config.  Obviously, it was a ton of meticulous work.
How do I get it back?...

Unfortunately I can't help you with that. You should always backup your config folder before uploading new version of plugins. There's been some changes between version 3 and 4, after I released version 4 I did put up notice about config file changes.
