So on a 5k map if you are at the opposite end of the map to the Ship No Issues Smooth Sailing No Lag, If you Go Under It However Seems to Certainly Drop frames and causes Lag And Rubber-Banding Nothing Unbearable But Enough To Have Players Complaining Of Lag When Active

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about client-side performance. The only thing that might improve performance is to reduce the amount of entitys parented with the ship i.e. less NPCs and anti-air turrets.

If you enabled double NPC count in the config, try disabling it.
