That is a current glitch with the ferry prefab itself and waiting on FP to fix it. The boxes on the prefab go invis.

Ya.... All prefabs can be edited in the config..

Rust finally patched the ferry to fix the invisible crates now its suppose to be out in next update.

Seems they have not fixed there bug yet i did mention it in FP discord again but they have alot going on now with all there new introduced bugs.

I Cant believe FP not fixed this yet Seems all they like to do is make more bugs and not fix the current ones lmao. you can edit the conifg to remove the slot machenes or change them to the ones witch have legs.
