How do I get the height right on the saved bases I have?  They are in the ground.  I have tried using auto height but nothing changes.  I also can not get the loot tables to work.  I did watch the video but not seeing why it should not be working.

autoheight is from CopyPaste.  use /copy on the base and then test it with /paste until you get it at the right height. I copy from the center foundation.

post your loot table. what is the issue?
