players who are on cooldown can become event owners

Hey, im having an issue where as mentioned in the title players who are on cooldown can become event owners, is there a way to prevent this cause its causing some players to get confused thinking they can take it but when its not locking because their on cooldown and another player steals the event they create tickets etc 😄

Can you double check @Ghosty and look at your core PveMode settings? The main config for the plugin might have settings you weren't aware of.

If it is set properly there just get a few more details and follow up and we can look into it further.

So here's a quote from one of my players "People are waiting for convoy announcement, flying in. Doesn't matter if you lock it, they wait, pull NPCs out and kill them"  and here's another i got: "While finishing event it says you can do another in 2h BUT thats not true you CAN do it again and again Sometimes you can kill them but not loot them What's more broken that after you owned the event (or start it) someone else can take it when that happens you both can do the same event (even tho someone else took it) (not in the same clan) i guess that's it if i didnt miss anything"

So the only thing I've noticed myself is that when you take it and it spawns again and your on cooldown other then the chat message when you first take it there's not much else, if its possible would there be a way to make it very clear your on cooldown and cant take the event at all until that's over? like when a player shoots an npc, rockets Bradley etc.. and their on cooldown it pops up with a chat message saying "your on cooldown blocking damage" or something like that. Cause most players think its bugged when it does lock and they do no damage to Bradly's and npc's.

So here is the first thing I want to point out, you don't have the timer activated in the main configuration.

You don't have owners being blocked in the main config file.

 

As far as NPCs being pulled away outside the bubble that is somewhat of an issue, but where has the other team gone when this happens? Just curious not debating your issue. We would need to see video or examples of how you are getting multiple owners to the same event though that part definitely should not be happening. Unless perhaps it is something in regards to the first thing I've already pointed out in config then we would need to collect more details as many as possible to look into that further.

I am adding a suggestion to our notes though as far as perhaps a reminder and a configurable timer for how often the reminder can show up if you try to attack something and are locked out. Generally it should be apparent depending on how the server is set up but still that's a great suggestion so we can look into it. Thank you for sharing!
