Event start/stop hooks?

I use Event Manager to schedule events; when it was command based in the config, I'd added Paintball. Since it's been rewritten, I'd like for the developer (@MuB-Studios) to add support for Paintball. I think they need start/stop hooks for this. Can you share the hooks (or add them to a future version if they do not exist)? 

Couldn't he just execute the console command to start the event?

I completely conflated Event Manager with another plugin I use in terms of requirements; I'm sorry. 

You're right -- Event Manager uses console commands. We have what we need for this.
