Items stacking and losing their buff

I tried setting "Use EpicLoot to prevent enhanced items from stacking? [Disable if you are having conflicts with stack control plugins]": true, to true and false and it didnt seem to make a difference.

What is happening is if a player drags an epic item over a normal one, it seems to lose its epic properties. 
When a player drags a lower quality (same tier/same skin) epic item over a higher quality one, it inherits the higher quality properties.
However, when a player drags a higher quality (same tier/same skin) epic item over a lower quality one, it inherits the lower quality properties.

The stacking isnt quite working very well. I tried using 2 different stacking plugins, didnt seem to make a difference. 
This can be seen most commonly on tactical gloves and boots. 

This plugin is amazing and works quite well otherwise! 10/10 recommend!
