Hopefully a quick one - I am admin on the server and I have given the admin group permissions to `botspawn.allowed` but the chat command `/botspawn add xxxxx` still doesn't seem to do anything.

What else do I need to do? I've done this before and I don't remember it being hard 😄

Hi Reb_,
Is the command not working for you either? It works for admin by default, and people with the permission as an extra.

If it's not working for you, as admin, open console or rcon (not in-game f1 console) and oxide.reload BotSpawn.
Watch to confirm that it successfully loads, or reloads, without any errors.

Also if you're trying to create a profile with a space in the name, /botspawn add "use quotation marks"

What's the command - I tried `botspawn add chinook_crate` via RCON but got no feedback and default_CustomProfiles.json is still the same so I guess that's the wrong command.

Can't see anything listed in the description page either...

BotSpawn is working, bot.count returns 28 bots.

They're chat commands - They're all listed in the description.

They have to be done from chat because new profiles are added at your player's location.

Okay, so I am logged in as admin, if I type in chat: `/botspawn add test` I get no feedback in chat.

In RCON I can do `bot.count` and see there are 18 bots today.

Makes no difference if I reload the plugin also.

I don't think that's possible.
Are you 100% sure you have auth-level two or the botspawn permission?

Either should let you use the /botspawn in-game chat command.

 

If you're sure of that, watch the server console while you do the `/botspawn add ***` command, to ensure it isn't throwing some error.

I'm defo admin, I can noclip etc.

When I do the add or list command there is no output in chat or the RCON console either.

Ahh, hold up - I need Auth level 2? So owner rather than moderator...?

Okay, lemme try that. I didn't realise there was actually any difference between the different Auth levels...

No worries.

regular players are Auth Level 0, Moderators are 1, and Admin/Owner are 2.
No one should have auth 2 except the server owners.

BotSpawn commands can be run by anyone who is Auth 2, or anyone who has the botspawn use permission.
