Hello.

I'm currently trying to modify the boxes, but the plugin isn't accepting my custom images from the data file. No matter what I change there or in the config, nothing happens; the boxes remain transparent, and I simply can't get my custom images to display.

I’d like to have a custom image or simply a matching gray background visible (instead of the game).

Hi! Two things are going on here.

  1. The card background is semi-transparent by design. The panels use a fixed 50% opacity dark gray, so the game world shows through behind them. In this version there’s no config option to change that color or swap in an image for the cards. I’ve noted your request for a solid gray background.
  2. Custom images are for the item icon, not the card background. The CustomImageUrl setting in the item tiers draws the small icon inside each reward slot. To use a local file, place it in oxide/data/BattlePass/images/ with the exact filename you put in the config (case and extension included). If the file isn’t found there, the plugin tries to download it from our CDN, and if that filename isn’t on the CDN either, the slot stays empty. After adding or changing an image, run battlepass.reloadimages in the console.
If you send me your BattlePass data file (or just the CustomImageUrl values you set), I can check the filenames for you.

Some notifications are affected by this as well. Please change this, too, because the game is visible in them—something I really don't like. I don't want to change the icons themselves, but I would love the option to use my own images as the background for those boxes; that would be great. Alternatively, a setting to adjust the gray tone to one's own preference—as you already mentioned—would be good.

I just wanted to ask if there’s an option I might have overlooked. Since I know how to do it, I can code it into the plugin myself—naturally, just for my own use on my server.

Thanks for the detail. I’ve noted both requests: a custom background image for the reward boxes, and a setting for the gray tone. There’s no option for this in the current version, so I’ll look into adding it.

My plugin is licensed, so modifying the source needs to be cleared with me first. Let me know if you’d like to talk about that.

Thanks for the quick response. I’ll wait for your update. We don’t need to discuss it; I won’t do anything without your consent. 🙂

One more thing regarding the commands you can enter: since the plugin isn't accepting the current config format, could that be changed to allow entering multiple commands at once? I haven't tested yet whether it accepts them that way, but the other approach would be better.

I’ll add support for a list of commands in the Console Command field later today, so you can enter several in order. Until then, please keep one command per reward as a single string, since the array format stops the plugin from loading.
