This is not a bug with stack modifier, the bug that you are showing / experiencing is caused by another plugin you have installed on the server.

Please try unloading all plugins & simply loading stack modifier by it's self, the bug should go away, and then load 1 plugin at a time until you find the one causing this bug.

The only other thing I could suggest checking is making sure you have the latest update installed.
