No dome?

Hi,

With the latest version, we don't seem to be getting a dome when entering the airfield event. The option is turned on. Any ideas? Also doesn't say anything about joining/leaving the event etc but did before. We are using PveMode and everything is up to date. The NPCs also didn't seem to be moving for some reason.

I tested it and the dome works fine. Have you tried restarting the server? Are you using Carbon or Oxide? Regarding NPCs, if it worked fine before the July update, then the developers have changed the NPC type you're using. If possible, use type 8—heavy scientists—they work fine. In the future, I plan to only have one possible scientist type. Will this solution work for you with scientists?

Hey, after server restart it looks like the Dome is working again. Not sure why it wasn't working yesterday!

The NPCs seem to be shooting but not moving, although I will do some more testing to see if it's related to how far away I am from them or not (although they used to move to the position I was fighting from before, but now do not). We're on Carbon. I will do some more testing and will try to let you know the results 🙂 Thanks for your help!

Okay, but the NPC type you're using now won't work; they don't move. You need to use type 8; that'll definitely work

Hey, I set the NPCs to the roam ones and they are working. Thanks for your help. 

Having one NPC type could work for us but I think having the option to choose different NPCs types works nicely for those who want separate difficulties. For example someone might one roaming scientist types for an Easy one, but then Heavy Scientists for a hard one etc.

Yes, I understand, in the future I want to add the ability to easily change NPC equipment. So that server owners can easily reconfigure NPCs, even though they can only use one type.
