I would definitely trust the console version rather than whatever says in your user panel. I think your user panel might be showing the latest AVAILABLE version rather than the one actually installed?

I’ve contacted my hosting provider and I’ll see what they say. Depending on their response and the update, I’ll test the latest version again and keep you informed. Thanks a lot for your help!
