How to speed up skin loading process?

Not a Bug 1.0.3

Hi! I have a quick question about the plugin.
Is there any way or trick to make all the skins load faster?
While they're loading, it's almost impossible to play — each download causes a small lag spike or stutter in the connection.
Just wondering if there’s any workaround or something I could do to improve this.

Thanks in advance!

😟Yes, this issue does exist — it's mentioned in the configuration file description. Unfortunately, it's a limitation of Rust itself, and there's nothing that can be done to change it.
Downloading skins from the Workshop fully depends on each player's internet connection speed:
— if the connection is slow, skins will take a long time to load;
— if fast, everything will load much more smoothly.

The only way to improve this is to reduce the number of skins in the configuration.
You can manually remove the ones you don't need using the free Editor for Skins Plugins tool, available on the CodeInfLink website.
It lets you easily modify the file to fit your needs. The tool is simple to use and comes with instructions.

If you have any questions or run into issues — feel free to reach out, I’ll be happy to help!
And if you don’t mind — please consider leaving a review about the configuration file 🙏
Thank you for reaching out😍
