Hello, I believe I know the answer, but I figured i would verify here.

I want to have the commands page show columns so that it is more space efficient.  Is modifying the .cs file the only way for me to make this happen?

Hey, Rust text component (community ui) can't handle creating columns or tables, best option for that would be creating big image and put all your text on it.
