I just had a player that could not close the welcome panel when he logged in. Clicking on the button to close it just didn't work. I had to disable the option to open it on connect and he could get in. Once in, he was able to open and close the panel without issue.

He also informs me that it basically disables his connection when the welcome panel opens automatically. For example, when he connected and the welcome panel was open, if he alt-tabbed to Discord, he couldn't send any messages, it was like his internet was overloaded. I've asked him to find out how to enable client side logging and we'll see if the log says anything but maybe this information helps?

Innitialy I was thinking that issue might be cause by spectate flag since they made some changes this update. Im using spectate flag to disable movement while players are browsing welcomepanel but after reading that other part, this is some client side issue. Does it happen for him everytime he open welcome panel ?

It only happens when he is trying to close Welcome Panel when he connects. Once he's in-game, he can open and close it without an issue. I realized I was running the version from a couple of weeks ago so I updated and if that doesn't fix it, I will try the fix you sent me in Discord.
