Entering Player Mode Triggers No Clip

Work in Progress 3.1.16

dustyhansen

When I toggle into Player Mode I fall through the base to the ground and get stuck. When I enter admin mode, I get a message in chat that I caused a No Clip violation. I do not have no clip as one of the commands in my config, so I am not sure why it is being triggered.

i also get this violation warning occasionally while in Admin mode when I open a door or jump. Never while actually No Clipping.

This is the build in server "anti-cheat" in rust servers telling the player a violation has been triggered to get rid of those messages

Replace with

//XLIB.NOTIFICATION.Server.Self.SendMessage(player, FormatMessage(message));

OR delete it completely

Can you address my first post in this thread? Why am I no clipping when I switch to player mode? I can't use the plugin because I fall through the base and get stuck.

When you toggle out of admin the plugin must ensure the player is on the ground to ensure it doesn't trigger a ban for flying without auth 2

Wait, so are you saying that to use the plugin you need to be on the ground when switching into player mode and not in a base? That switching to player mode inside a base will drop you to ground and get you stuck is the expected behavior?

You could just enable teleport back

its a limitation in the game as when switching auth level from 2 to 0 and IF in the air or flying the game ban/kicks you

So I made a little check to force a player to the ground of the map

I enabled teleport back upon exiting and nothing happened, so I am not sure what this setting is supposed to do, but I still fell through the base. It sounds like it is supposed to teleport me back to the top of the base where I was?
