Yes the config has lots of different settings. You can have them spawn around players in groups, set manual spawn locations and also random spawn locations across the map.

Is that OK or do I need to change something?
The first feedback I got from a player was that only a few zombies were seen but no groups

The zombie groups should not be larger than 25 - 30 zombies

You may need to adjust the Group Spawn Radius to be larger. That is the diameter it tries to spawn them within. So trying to cram a lot of them in a small radius might be messing with it.

I will also work on optimizing the groups so it performs better.
