Greetings,

I would like to export the table to a website (built with Wordpress), I'm not coding savvy so if there is a simple way to monitor the table while keeping it updated when refreshing the browser it would be great.

My thanks.

Hi,

Kenna kindly provided a template for reading and publishing PlayerRanks data.
It still requires some amount of knowledge/experience to implement but certainly takes a lot of the work out of it.

Hopefully it's useful to you - https://github.com/kennethrisa/Stats

Thank you, sadly the demo isn't working for me, I'll follow the tutorial and see the outcome.

You most likely need a wordpress plugin that lets you add in php snippets.
Not sure if the tutorial covers that or not but with that in place it's not too complicated.

Thank you bro for the support, but as I said I'm not good with coding plus the server (not online yet) and the website are hosted on different devices.

I want the ranks so I can give a VIP pack to the top player in a category, thinking about the total airdrops looted, is it a good idea?

For the exportation to the website I'll do it manually from the database no problem.

Sure, that sounds like a good idea.

The rust server and website being hosted on different devices isn't a problem.
Your Rust server (PlayerRanks config) should have SQL credentials so it can save to your SQL server and any php getting stats on a website would have the same somewhere within.
The main hiccup people see is that the SQL server would need to whitelist the Rust server and webserver IPs - usually called "Remote Access" I think.

Depending on your host, the IP you need to whitelist for the Rust server usually isn't the IP people use to connect. You may need to ask for it.

I'm using OVH, already found that this webhost is offering a tool to export databases, I'll try to dig into this to make it auto update on the site.

So I’ve managed to get this working 🙂

my only issue is the database isn’t being populated with info such as most headshots, bullets fired, etc

if you need help with the site, feel free to drop me a message 🙂

Hi 🙂

if you check monsterrust.co.za/stats , you will be that 99.9% of the info in the database is coming through, my issues is the section for top 19 players is blank, if I check the database , those values are all 0 in the database and in game if I check on the menu in game generated by the plug-in , I’m guessing it’s most likely something I’ve duffed up 😂 any pointers on what to check for this?

Hi,

Sorry, that's not really something I can troubleshoot. The php/site template isn't mine, and php code in use isn't visible to the public.

All the tables will be the same format, though - Just double check through your code and verify what category you're sorting by, and whether the sort should be ascending or descending.

Thanks guys for the support, I was going to manually export results but why not if there is an automated solution why not.

It would be important to save history of the previous period because after wipe the rankings must be rest.

I want to offer VIP kits to the winners that's why 🙂
