Cant load any saved .CUI file

Hello, just purchased this yesterday as the usual online editor for CUIs is no longer working. This program works great for the most part however it fails to load any saved .cui file properly. Either it crashes when trying to load anything with more than 1 element or it sends the element to a position wayyy off the screen as well as increasing its size near to positive infinity.

Not sure whats going on would really appreciate any help with this as there are really no other functional options for creating a UI and this one fails to load any saved file along with other issues like if you try to delete a element that has children it will crash and all your data is gone. Please let me know what I can do or if there is a fix that can be implemented 

after loading a cui save file with 1 element. Anything more than 1 element crashes the program. Tried on multiple pcs and virtual machines, same result
