When loading Simplesplitter i get a warning in console that it could potentially cause server stalls and problems, Is this something i can ignore or is this important?

Changed Status from Pending to Not a Bug

I just noticed i was on the old version, my bad. however it still happens on 2.4.0 you can see on screenshot attached.

You can ignore that.. I have changed the method used for carbon and will release an update later but you will not see any stalls or drops where it is being used. No worries there
