So more to update - It looks like the server crashed or went down for a few min while i was mowing the lawn just a little bit ago. When it came back up and i logged back on I was in the position i was last with all of my stuff but the train was gone, What do i need to do to make the trains stay persistent through rest or crashes?

Does each train car need their own TC

Okay, I have logged in and rebuilt the thing to test again, the only thing I could think is a wolf tried getting me and attached the train till it got to me not sure if that is even possible.

100% as it is on a private server for testing

I am new to Rust so this might be a simple issue for most. When I installed and got mod running it was perfect. Until I got a Train with 2 cars attached, and built a temp base with a TC and filled it up, The TC stated I had over 6 Days till decay. I went to bed and when i woke up a few hours later the train had be despawned and i was then eaten by a wolf lol. Is their a setting i need to change to prevent the train you build on for DCing or does the TC need to be in the engine compartment for the train to register that is should not DC like normal. Also 2/3 cars where out of a red zone while one was still in a red zone ( military tunnel no build zone) when i went to sleep not sure if that had anything to do with it either.
