    Hmm.. Not sure what it did to cause this but I thought I should share this with you all to see if it helps you. 
    I deleted all the files.. the zip and all the folders and then re-downloaded a new zip.. created a new server directory and rand myrustserver.exe... Now it's working... 
    This one has me slightly puzzled! But it's working so I will start fresh LOL
