Summary

• You bought it — you can run it on any Rust server you personally own or operate.
• You can edit the code for your own use, but you cannot share, post, or redistribute the modified (or original) files.
• No resale, no transfers, no leaks, no bundling into other paid products or services.
• Don't upload the code (in whole or in part) to ChatGPT or any other AI/LLM service.
• Break these terms and your license is revoked with no refund.

1. Grant of License

Upon purchase, the Licensor grants the buyer ("Licensee") a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use [PLUGIN NAME] (the "Plugin") on any Rust game server that the Licensee personally owns and operates. The license is granted to a single individual or entity — the purchasing Codefling account.

2. Permitted Use

The Licensee may:

a) Install and run the Plugin on any number of Rust servers owned and operated by the Licensee.
b) Modify the Plugin's source code for the Licensee's own personal use only, including bug fixes, customizations, and integrations with other plugins on their own servers.
c) Create local backups of the Plugin and any modifications for the Licensee's own use.

3. Restrictions

The Licensee may not:

a) Sell, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, gift, or otherwise transfer the Plugin or this license to any other person or entity.
b) Share, distribute, upload, post, mirror, or otherwise make the Plugin (original or modified) available to any third party, including but not limited to public repositories (GitHub, GitLab, etc.), file-sharing services, Discord servers, leak sites, forums, or private groups.
c) Use the Plugin, in whole or in part, as a component of any other paid product, paid service, paid bundle, paid plugin pack, or commercial offering.
d) Use the Plugin on servers the Licensee does not personally own or operate (e.g., servers owned by clients, friends, employers, or third parties — each requires its own separately purchased license).
e) Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, attribution, or licensing notices within the Plugin's source code.
f) Reverse engineer the Plugin for the purpose of producing a competing product or recreating its functionality for redistribution.
g) Upload, paste, submit, or otherwise input the Plugin's source code, in whole or in part — including individual snippets, functions, or excerpts — into any artificial intelligence system, large language model, machine learning platform, or similar tool (including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, or any other AI assistant or code-generation service), whether for analysis, modification, debugging, training, or any other purpose. This restriction does not limit the Licensee's right to modify the code by their own hand under Section 2(b).

4. Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the Plugin remain the sole property of the Licensor. This license grants usage rights only and does not transfer ownership of the Plugin or any portion thereof.

5. Termination

This license is revocable at the Licensor's sole discretion in the event of any breach of these terms. Upon revocation:

a) The Licensee must immediately cease all use of the Plugin and delete all copies (original and modified) from their servers and storage.
b) No refund will be issued.
c) The Licensor reserves the right to deny future purchases and support to the Licensee.

6. No Warranty

The Plugin is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Licensor does not warrant that the Plugin will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all server configurations, Rust updates, Oxide/Carbon versions, or other plugins.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Licensor be liable for any damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, server downtime, player loss, corruption, or any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Plugin.

8. Updates and Support

Updates and support are provided at the Licensor's discretion. Continued availability of updates or support is not guaranteed and does not form part of this license.

9. Acceptance

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Plugin, the Licensee acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms of this License Agreement.
