how does the custom schedule work?

I had a custom schedule on and it seemed to not really listen to what I was saying, instead of it being like a STRICT schedule is it just running said presets with a set CHANCE? Like if I set chance to 5% at hour 5, when it reaches hour five does that mean it wiil have a five percent chance to play and if it doesnt then it just plays a random VANILLA preset..? Or does it choose one from the list still?

So if you have at 9am Rain preset and the rain preset itself has 35% chance to happen it will check chances and decide, so if you have 2 presets at 9am like Storm and Rain and storm has 45% to happen and rain has 35% to happen so there is only 20% chance for weather to to change at all from previous one

Just to make sure I’m understanding it right:

If I put two presets at, say, 9am like Cloudy at 30% and Fog at 20% — does that mean there’s basically a 50% chance the weather changes at 9am, and the other 50% of the time it just stays whatever it was before?

Or does it roll each one separately? Just wanna be sure I’m thinking about it the same way you are. And you made it this way so you can intentionally create a "random" weather effect with a smart layout?

okay cool really appreciate it, one more thing. My default config has Dust and Fog set to the same settings, even when resetting it stays like that; Is that intended? I would think fog and dust are different right?

It fills with what rust gives you as default presets not sure if it was like this before

As i said before Weather plugin grabs CURRENT rust's weather presets as they are right now, if those two are similar right now means they made them like this

I find it hard to believe they removed Fog completely as I still see it on official vanilla servers though. So I think the issue is elsewhere, thats why I was wondering if anyone else (like yourself even) has the same thing upon using the plugin in November update- and if you didnt, then I could just copy their settings and then i'd be back to normal no problem. Also they arent similiar they are IDENTICAL, both are exactly the same so it looks like a glitch even more so.

Also on a sidenote I had another question; when you click the green arrow to load a preset, does it need to play the full SET duration before a new one can load?
