You probably have plugins that patch methods incorrectly and that can cause bugs. You need to remove all plugins that have .PatchAll(

You have a problem with patches from plugins on the server. Remove plugins that include this phrase .PatchAll( and restart the server.

I understand, but I use the same set of plugins for quite some time now and did not have this issue before. I'd not prefer to remove plugins as that's a rather limiting factor. Any chance to have this solved in a different way?

I just updated the server yesterday night and I didn't touch anything and started to do that error even sometimes random If I do not restarting the server.
I did not see any Patch.all plugin until now

Yes, I have already fixed this issue and changed to manual patching without using PatchAll, in the next update.

This is the solution that is needed. I will explain why it is a problem: when loading the server plugins are compiled into one assembly and if some plugin makes a PatchAll, it is applied to all patches from all plugins several times. Because of what plugin someone's patch used another plugin can't apply the patch correctly and work with it correctly. The problem is not in the library and the solution is to fix the problem plugins.

That you didn't get problems previously is more likely just luck and it worked up to a point. But it can happen with other plugins too, it's just that the library is extremely sensitive to the patches it needs.

Very fair, thank you for explaining

Turns out it was your plugin after all.  Telling people to uninstall other plugins when it was actually yours all along is a crappy thing to do.  I see you have patched your lovely plugin quickly for some reason overnight! . I wonder why.  Pine Hosting has confirmed your plugin wiped my server and others.  They knew right away the issue because they had figured it out a few servers ago from other complaints.  Once I renamed the file, the server loaded right up with zero issues, but totally wiped.  So it is 100% in fact, not another plugin, it is in fact, 100% your plugin.  And now all my players have lost everything they have worked for.  My backups are jacked.  I have literally spent 1000's here.  And today, I am officially done.

If you have no idea what you're talking about, there's no need to get so angry about it. I'm sure your server has exactly what is described here, but you're too confident in yourself to check it yourself. I have described in detail what the problem is and why it can affect other plugins.

As a "dev", why should we have to do any workarounds to keep our servers from not working or wiping.  A plugin either works, or it doesn't.  Your customized weapons failed me once, now this? Not to worry, your plugins are all going in the vault.  Let me ask you this though, are there any other plugins that use this plugin other than your own?  I am going to make a plugin, but if it doesn't work right, I will just direct everyone to a workaround support ticket until I fix it.  🤪   Quite silly and very irresponsible knowing there was a major issue that can break and wipe servers, and yet still let it out, because I would bet, only your plugins use this pos.  I would not know, there is no info on what uses it.  Seems fitting.  Have a blessed day.

LoneWolf - I must admit I agree with you. I was using Better Backpacks and the Custom Item Definitions and it would constantly give red text errors and the console even gives errors from the plugin specifically, but everytime the author would say it wasnt anything he did. (Edit: I did remove all oxf plugins I had from my server.)

Sorry to hear about your server, thats not cool. Pine is good, Niner really pushes his team to find resolutions for their customers.

Cheers

I know I am not the only one.  I am just the only one with the balls to say anything.  Very unprofessional author for sure.  In a world full of "Devs",  be an Adem.  😉  The fan boys can have at me, I know what happened.

Have you tried following the instructions in this ticket? Obviously, if you remove my plugins, the patches provided by my plugin will no longer exist, but that doesn't change anything—your server undergoes multiple patching when it starts up. Perhaps some of your other plugins are also not working correctly, but they don't announce it in red text on the screen, and when you encounter this problem again, you will blame another author's plugin. My plugin manipulates RPC and deceives the client side, and yes, it is sensitive to multiple patching, which should not occur on a properly functioning server.
