custom items not appearing from animals

I made some custom pelt skins and put them into the custom item section and then put them into the corresponding animals as custom loot.  I used paper as the default item and then applied my skin id and custom name.  They will only drop paper when i cut up the animal.  Neither the name nor the skin is coming with it - it's just paper.  If I have it spawn in a blue barrel it works perfectly every time.  

This is a known bug and will be fixed with the next update. Normally you should not be able to add custom items to the gathering configurations.

thank you for the reply - do you mean that you are going to remove the ability to add custom items to animal corpses, or did you mean you are going to force it to work?  sorry for my confusion.
