Please check that you are entering the command correctly, try to copy paste it, in that support ticket user was entering auto-collect instead of auto-pickup

1. Rather than trying to suggest there isn't a problem, why don't you try to understand it and fix it?

2. Your documentation clearly suggests BOTH commands would work.

3. I have tried BOTH commands in game chat and I ensured I have the permissions. I can use things like /panimal tiger though /panimal auto-pickup and /panimal auto-collect DO NOT WORK.

4. When I copy and paste it, "/panimal auto-pickup enable", it literally does not work

Can you show me your full config? "auto-pickup" is a predefined argument so it can't show you "animal not found" error, that's why i'm asking twice to check everything
auto-collect is a mistype in the config, all available commands you can see on the plugin page
also, did you change any localization files? and what are you using - carbon or oxide?

Can you please show the output when you are entering /panimal auto-pickup, /panimal auto-pickup wood, /panimal auto-pickup enable?

I'm using Carbon. No localization file changes. This is a screenshot of the output when I use the auto-pickup command. It is also the same output when I use /panimal auto-pickup all

Also are you on procedural or custom map? Are there enough collectable resources around in 50 meters radius (or what you set in the config)?

Correct it does not pick up. Procedural map. I'm right next to the resources too

Screenshot2025-06-04at12_06_19.png.7ff7180b1efea4a77da9b7292ddcb017.pngTested it with your config on ice as in your screenshot - works okay, however there are no resources to collect in winter so i had to spawn manually. Also tested in forest.
Also i'm not sure but have you been riding an animal while testing auto-pickup? he won't move to resource because you're controlling it while riding

So you're able to see that the message shows auto-pickup enabled?

No, I'm not riding the animal while it's near a resource. (FWIW, the screenshot was on an iceberg, my testing was in the forest)

here is how it works with your config via /panimal auto-pickup all
what maybe can help:
- try to run these commands via GUI, you can add "Shortcut buttons" in the config to call these auto-pickup commands
- try on another animal (maybe wolf, new gen2 animals are not really good because they have new AI)
- try to check with single resource (auto-pickup wood for example, not "all")
- try to increase auto-pickup radius in config
- ensure that there aren't any errors or warnings in the console that may be related

Right, when I type the commands in order, I should expect it to work like the above screenshot though it is not, hence why I have asked this support.

/panimal tiger

/panimal auto-pickup all

/panimal auto-pickup enable

Still yields "DISABLED"

Have you tried anything i suggested above? I need to understand is it caused by chat command or by auto-pickup code itself, so i can help further.

Works with gen1 animals not gen2

oh okay that's explains a lot. gen2 animals are currently not in a very good state because a new AI system is used for them, i will take a look what have changed in the recent update. probably the destination point is just too high above the ground so they won't go there
