change follow distance

is there a way to change the follow distance of a player? and also is there a command for your pet to stay or not follow? thanks

There isn't currently any option to change the follow distance
Use /panimal idle to make animal stay on current position or use action button while looking at him

Oops, we actually have a setting to change the following distance, it's called "Distance between player and animal to move animal into idle state"

thanks, would there be a way to add a option to increase said follow distance? as currently if animal is following the player they get in the way of interacting with loot containers and such i feel this would be advantageous to have as a setting say maybe 2 meter follow distance ?

i think "Distance between player and animal to move animal into idle state" is what you need, test it out
