Since the latest wipe, the event only spawns NPC Heavy Scientist where it used to spawn only tunnel dwellers, is there a way to revert it back so it spawns lower class of NPC

Hey there! Do you use the Kits plugin on your server?

You can change NPCs settings in the config:
"NPCs health(0 - default)"
"NPCs damage multiplier"
"NPCs accuracy"
"NPCs attack range"
"Minimum distance to NPC damage"

this way you can make NPCs stronger or weaker.

Also, if you install the "Kits" plugin, then you will be able to customize NPCs clothes and weapons more flexibly. Is this solution suitable for you?

Thank you for the reply, I will look into it, but unsure why they are only heavy scientists now where they used to be tunnel dwellers, massive difference in weapons, most of these heavy scientists have m249 where the tunnel dwellers used to mainly be armed with a m39 rifle

Looking at your reply, none of them settings change the actual type of NPC spawned, only their health, accuracy and range they can attack.

Using the kits plugin, you can give them tunneldweller clothes and any weapons

This does not answer my question as why it has changed in the first place, as I have not changed any settings, I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it twice and still get the same result

I disabled support for some types of NPCs, because it is difficult to support all types at once, since they are different. In the config settings, I immediately indicated that this setting is experimental. But if the presence of a certain type of NPC is absolutely important for you, I will try  implement this functionality specifically for you. Please let me know if the option of using the Kits plugin is fundamentally not suitable for you

I have tried to change the setting in the config so that it spawns tunnel dwellers, but it doesnt actually make any difference it still spawns the heavy scientists, I can not understand what has changed since the last wipe, before this months wipe only tunnel dwellers spawned, but since the Nov rust update only heavy scientists spawn now.

I dont want to use the kits plugin, your plugin is one of the most popular on my server, but with the low gear players can not kill them and just die from the heavy, the only options really left for my players is I either uninstall the airfield plugin or repawn the NPC guards, but as they enjoy plugin doubt ill remove it, and I dont really see the point of having it installed without having the NPC guards either, but as is now with the Heavy guards its virtually unusable.
