Hi, how can I disable the timers and have the event called from another plugin that I have that controls my servers events?

Is there an API list I can see?

Cheers

Hey, you can use

Console commands:

callcargoplane - force the event to start crashcargoplane - force the event to end

Just increase "Time to event start"

I got my custom Event Controller plugin talking to your plugin quite easily, Can I suggest you add a isEnabled bool to totally disable the timers from firing at all, please? I don't really like the sound of increasing the timers (waste of CPU resource) if I don't need them running.

Either that or can I do it myself, please?

Thanks.

Thanks pal :), One last question, Is there not to be a loud explosion heard all over the map when the plane crashes and explodes? I can't hear any explosion sound at all.

Cheers again for your time here.

This sometimes happens with some players. Try restarting the server and client

Yeah, it's definitely strange if I'm right near it, I can hear it extremely loud, but if I'm away from it and don't actually see the plane hit the deck I can't hear it, But I can her when C4 goes off from a fair distance away.

I'm also getting this error when I manually use command /callcargoplane and then immediately use /crashcargoplane from my admin account in game.

Thanks pal, I appreciate all the effort you have gone through for this plugin, it's fantastic, I will be purchasing more soon 🙂

So to recap on my suggestions:

1, Implement a way to stop the auto event timers with a bool "IsEnabled" (Excellent for when server owners and plugin devs have other plugins which can call the event).
2, Implement a bool "HasCrashed" Broadcast message e.g "A Cargo Plane has just crashed at Grid reference <xx> and is protected by NPCs" (QOL Improvement).
3, Make the Plane Crash explosion heard Map Wide like C4 (Current you can only hear it if you actually see the Plane Crash and break up).

Hey Fruster,

Do you have any timeframe in which you can add the enable/disable timers setting, please?

Shouldn't take you more than 5–10 mins to mock something up. 😄

TIA

Excellent 🙂 Thanks very much for your support, The timer switch works well and as does the crashed message.

Ok, the timer error message in the screenshot is most likely related to the work of third-party plugins. With your permission, I will close this support ticket. Thanks for helping me improve my plugin

To eliminate that possibility, I spun up a server with just this plugin loaded and although it doesn't do it every time, it does randomly do it sometimes, and I can't find exactly what causes/reproduces it, but yeah it's not a big issue because who keeps doing /callcargoplane and then immediately use /crashcargoplane anyway.

Yeah, you can close this now, thanks again and have a good evening.
