Hi,

Thanks for making this tool!

However now I have switched to it, for some reason my server does not show up at all in the in game browsers.

It is a dedi box not a local machine, all the ports are set correct in the firewall and worked fine before.

I can connect using the steam servers part of the steam client, I can see the server in RCON.io but it just will not show up in my favourites or in recent servers even after I have been on.

I made sure its ticked to show in the modded server section too, with no joy.

Any ideas would be appreciated as its driving me mad lol

Cheers

Sorry for the late reply!

We can connect using the Steam servers list and also the F1 method when the game is open.

Thank you.

Hi,

Yeah I tried the empty servers checkbox, I hit refresh and left it a good 10-15 while I went for a smoke haha

I have noticed an error that is appearing on start up though about the companion app, which is new. This is the error.

Companion server failed to start: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException (0x80004005): Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted.

  at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Bind (System.Net.EndPoint localEP) [0x00043] in <14e3453b740b4bd690e8d4e5a013a715>:0
  at Fleck.SocketWrapper.Bind (System.Net.EndPoint endPoint) [0x00000] in <ab99eefdd17e4a4e88de8ba5c29af877>:0
  at Fleck.WebSocketServer.Start (System.Action`1[T] config) [0x00018] in <ab99eefdd17e4a4e88de8ba5c29af877>:0

  at CompanionServer.Server.Initialize () [0x0004b] in <c4171536ddd34a55a3a9736c22d565be>:0

which is also strange as the Rust+ app works and the port responds.

I'm going to do a full fresh set up today with new firewall rules and everything from scratch, as I am wondering if something is conflicting after using a previous server launcher?

Thank you again for the help, appreciate it.

your ports must be assigned twice, check that out.
