Hello!

After the wipe, all bots stop assist each other. players kill waves of 20 bots 1 by 1 without any response.

Is global setting NPCs_Assist_NPCs set to true?

Yes it is. I did not change anything from last wipe.

I actually disable it for now because after test it some of them were agro and run to nowhere "out of the map" lol

I did find an issue.
I think an object I'm addressing is maybe being disposed of sooner than it used to be.
I've patched it now and all seems well.

 

NPCs shouldn't be running to nowhere, though...Not sure what that's about.
Can you tell me more?

I was testing with 100 bots all together in Airfield, killing 1 by 1 with a sense range of 90 just for the test. Killing it with others near not sensing you but After some time 1  or 2 started to run to infinite without hit them. Maybe this is addressed to the sense bug around it.

I'm really not sure what that could be. I'd have to try to replicate it to find out.

With regard to the sense/assist code, there was an issue that would just prevent nearby npcs from locking on to you.
A console error was possible, but there shouldn't have been any impact on behaviour, other than failing to engage.

Yes I did not notice about the sense/assist until some players reach out to me asking about it.
There were not a problem about the impact, just only the engage part.
There were no console errors.
