console command doesn't work and possibly the auto event start

Hi,

Thanks for the plugin, I look forward to using it 😀

the command /smc works but when I do the console command I get the following error:

Failed to run a 1.00 timer in 'CarHeist v1.3.4' (NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object) at Oxide.Plugins.CarHeist.DoBot (UnityEngine.Vector3 position) [0x00034] in :0 at Oxide.Plugins.CarHeist.b__49_0 () [0x00096] in :0 at Oxide.Core.Libraries.Timer+TimerInstance.FireCallback () [0x00018] in :0

I've not yet had cargo come out, but I'm worried the same will happen when cargo comes meaning it's not spawning the car heist.

Can you please investigate?

i pushed an update .... it might bee you have 0 ppl or sleepers at time of console command . orr null entity in those lists . check new update and see what happens but what the dobot() method does . is taking a random sleeper to mark cars position relative to monument ( little hack around for a dealing with modulurcars) so it will tp sleeper there to get car then take sleeper back . but seeing i dont have that problem on my server is bc there is allways ppl ... but this should help

I am using custom map at the moment.. does that make a difference? like if we don't use custom map, do I still need sleepers?

I just tested with 0 sleepers and I now get a clean message "Car Heist] No sleeping player found – cannot run DoBot." instead of the Null Reference.

Then I made a player disconnect so he is sleeping and it works fine..

The problem for us is that due to how the server is configured and also low pop, we never have sleepers 😢 so it's not usable for us in it's current state.

Could you please update so we don't need sleepers for this to work? maybe you could spawn a NPC instead of sleeper?

FOR IT TO WORK IT USERS SPAWNMODULERCARS AND THAT NEEDS A PLAYER TO SPAWN VEHICLE . THATS WHY I USE THE SLEEPERS AS I NEED A PLAYER TO DO AUTO SPAWN .

sorry for caps ... ill fiddle around to see if i can do it with dummy player to achieve this . just need a bit of time . to make sure it works ... are you willing to wait a few days ?

so yes monuments in custom map might not be same as prog gen with could make the car not spawn if it cant find the monument . but not realy an issue ... 

yours is the sleeper issue . but like i say ill find a way

Ah yes I understand what you mean with custom maps.. sometimes they use custom monuments with different names.. this isn't the case with the map I'm using.. I know this because I use monument addons plugin and when they use custom monuments, all my changes with monument addons don't apply.

As for waiting a few days.. that's no problem, thank you so much for looking for an alternative for me 🙂
