Hi, I'm having trouble configuring both BetterChat and PlayerRanks. I can't configure the tags so they're separate.

I took an image of a player's chat to illustrate my request.

Please help me.

Hi,
I guess you have

"TitleStart": "[",
 "TitleEnd": "]",

?

Remove the brackets from those two ^^, then manually add them around each title entry, like this
"Title": "[BotKiller]",

Perfect, thank you. Indeed, I removed the "[" "]" and added them to each of the titles, and it works.
Is it possible to change the color of each title? Or should they remain white?

Yes, you can put colour tags in the Title field and / or TitleStart and TitleEnd fields,
like this

"Title": "<color=#d4d3d3>[Killer]</color>",

or to keep your brackets white

"Title": "[<color=#d4d3d3>Killer</color>]",

With BetterChat, is it possible to create a GroupName "PlayerRanks"?
Priority: 1
Title:
Text: [doctor]
Color "#......"?

I'll test this tomorrow and keep you posted.
Thank you for your responsiveness and this great addition that provides a challenge for players.

Hi, I have another question. For example, I'd like the serverrewards title to have priority.
ChatPriority: 1

If I want killer to be a second title, do I have to set it to ChatPriority: 2?

Can I create classes? Set several titles with ChatPriority: 2, others with ChatPriority: 3, etc.
Or not?

You could set the same number for many but there isn't really an advantage,
because all you're doing is putting several titles in a group but then you have no control over the order of titles within that group.

You may as well just give them unique numbers so the order is 100% within your control.

This is the first time I've used this type of setting.
If I check the order of each title: 1 to 25, I think.
Is it likely that one player has title number 4 and another has title number 12? Would that be a problem or not?

But since I set the number of visible titles to 2.

So if a player has titles, for example, 4, 7, 13, and 21, does this mean that in the setting I want, we'll only see titles 4 and 7, if I understand correctly?

If this is correct, and I understand how it works, then if a player without a title obtains title number 13, in this case, that player will see that title appear?

Thank you for your help. It's truly a pleasure to learn about server administration, especially with the support of a skilled designer like you.

Yes, that's all correct. That's exactly how it works.

No trouble at all. Don't hesitate if you have any other questions. 👍
