AlphaLoot Capabilities, if i change loot pool of a certain NPC

hey i'm looking for some assistance on how to have the NPC's use a specific loot table/ profile from alpha loot, if someone could let me know how or assist me on what to do i would be greatly appreciated

if i was to change the loot pool of a certain NPC would that change the loot pool of the BetterNpc? do they use a NPC already loaded into base game or are they a new input?

Currently for AlphaLoot it reads the path to the base NPC loot profile. This is set in the NpcSpawn configuration.

Correct when using AlphaLoot it will read the base NPC type. There are loot table plugins that work better alongside other plugins, or you could try something like to path to a loot table or your own custom loot table.
