How to get the approval message to show?

Looking at your screenshots it has a nice GUI display for when a suggestion has been approved, however when we run the / command or right click > apps > approve the only thing that shows is a grey message: 

Can you explain how we get it to show like the screenshot of yours: 

And how we get this to show for others also as it isnt currently alerting anyone of it being approved.
