Are you using BotRespawn is so that may be the issue as they use the same NPC type for every single nps so plugin has no idea what they are to count them.

BotRespawn is not used.
It was working fine in the previous version (1.9.5).

Nothing changed in the plugin on counting deaths. ill boot up a test server and check it out later on if need be role back and see if its working.
