Entering Player Mode Triggers No Clip

Work in Progress 3.1.16

When I toggle into Player Mode I fall through the base to the ground and get stuck. When I enter admin mode, I get a message in chat that I caused a No Clip violation. I do not have no clip as one of the commands in my config, so I am not sure why it is being triggered.

i also get this violation warning occasionally while in Admin mode when I open a door or jump. Never while actually No Clipping.

This is the build in server "anti-cheat" in rust servers telling the player a violation has been triggered to get rid of those messages

Can you address my first post in this thread? Why am I no clipping when I switch to player mode? I can't use the plugin because I fall through the base and get stuck.

When you toggle out of admin the plugin must ensure the player is on the ground to ensure it doesn't trigger a ban for flying without auth 2

Wait, so are you saying that to use the plugin you need to be on the ground when switching into player mode and not in a base? That switching to player mode inside a base will drop you to ground and get you stuck is the expected behavior?

You could just enable teleport back

its a limitation in the game as when switching auth level from 2 to 0 and IF in the air or flying the game ban/kicks you

So I made a little check to force a player to the ground of the map

I enabled teleport back upon exiting and nothing happened, so I am not sure what this setting is supposed to do, but I still fell through the base. It sounds like it is supposed to teleport me back to the top of the base where I was?

Do you use multiple modes?

Mind sharing your configuration for my plugin?

So I just switched modes and it teleported me back to where I was last night when I switched modes last. So where is it supposed to teleport you to? When I am on my roof and switch to player mode, it doesn't TP back to the roof. But it does seem to want to TP me to where I was when I last switched modes.

Yes it
"Teleport Back Upon Exiting": true,
is enabled it will remember your last known location
My suggestion why not revert toggle back to play before you log off?

That is not the issue we were trying to fix though.

I thought what you were suggesting was that if I was an admin on the roof and toggled to player mode and fell to the bottom of the base and got stuck because of no clip, that this option would TP me back to the roof so I wasn't stuck anymore.

I thought it TP you back to where you were when you exited admin mode. No?

Yes the feature "Teleport Back Upon Exiting"
Teleports a player back to last known location

But if the last known location is in the air my plugin would need to bring you down to the ground level of the map otherwise the anticheat in the server would kick you

In the air means on the roof of a base?
